The adhesive mixture WALLMIX K-7 is intended for facing of strong nondeformable surfaces (concrete, brick, cement-sand and cement-lime surfaces) with a ceramic tile and a tile with water absorption not less than 1% and the size no more than 450х450 mm, inside and outside of buildings.
A mixture of cement with mineral fillers and modifying additives.
It is сarried out in accordance with the requirements of DSTU-N B A.3.1-23: 2013 and DSTU-N B B.2.6-212: 2016. The surface must be dry, strong and cleaned from dust, dirt, oil, grease, wax and paint. Fragile surface need to be removed. Highly absorbent substrates must be treated with a deep-penetrating WALLMIX Universal or WALLMIX Interior emulsion before use for 4 to 6 hours. Weak-absorbing and smooth bases before the beginning of work process an adhesive primer WALLMIX Betonkontakt and maintain from 4 to 6 hours
Pour the dry mixture into a container with clean water at room temperature in the proportion of 0.18-0.21 l per 1 kg of the mixture (4.5-5.25 l per 25 kg bag). Mix thoroughly with a stirrer or a low-speed drill with a nozzle until a homogeneous consistency without lumps and clots. Then let the solution stand for 5 minutes and mix thoroughly again. The mortar retains its adhesive properties for 1 hour.
Attention! Do not add other components to the mixture.
Execution of work.
Apply the prepared mortar mixture with a spatula or trowel to the surface. Then level it with a notched comb or a spatula with a U-shaped or square-shaped teeth, which form even ridges of the same height on the surface (the spatula must be held at an angle of 45 ° to the surface). After laying the tiles, remove any adhesive residues with a damp sponge. The width of the tile joints must be at least 2 mm.
Do not pre-soak the tiles.
The tile must be laid no later than 20 minutes after the application of the adhesive solution. Adjust the tile within 15 minutes after laying. Grouting of seams should begin not earlier than in 48 hours after laying of a tile.
Work should be performed at temperatures from +5 ° C to +30 ° C. The most effective result is achieved at a temperature of +20 ° C and a relative humidity of 60%. In other conditions, the operating parameters of the mixture may change.
Consumption of the mixture per 1 mm of solid layer ~ 1.35 kg / m2. On average, it is consumed from 2.7 kg / m2, depending on the thickness of the applied layer and the condition of the surface.
The mixture contains cement, which causes an alkaline reaction at the moment of hydration, therefore, when working, it is necessary to protect eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with running water and consult a doctor.
The mixture must be stored in original sealed packaging in a dry place on pallets. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of production indicated on the package. Use damaged bags first.
Packaging. 25 kg paper bags with an inner polyethylene layer.
