Lightweight cement-lime plaster with perlite WALLMIX C-17 is intended for machine and manual “traditional” application of a plaster layer on durable non-deformable bases made of heavy concrete, slag and expanded clay concrete, sawn turtle-stone, ceramic and silicate bricks, and cellular concrete (foam concrete, aerated concrete, gas silicate, etc.). The mixture can be used inside and outside buildings, in industrial and residential premises with a layer thickness of 5 to 30 mm in one application
A mixture of cement with mineral fillers and modifying additives.
It is carried out in accordance with the requirements of DSTU-N B А.3.1-23: 2013 and DSTU-N B В.2.6-212: 2016. The substrate must be dry, sound and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease, wax and paint residues. Weak layers must be removed. Highly absorbent substrates must be primed with WALLMIX UNIVERSAL or WALLMIX INTERIOR acrylic primer and cured for 4 to 6 hours. Weakly absorbent and smooth surfaces are treated with WALLMIX BETONCONTACT adhesive primer before starting work and kept for 4 to 6 hours.
Pour the dry mixture into a container with clean water at room temperature in a proportion of 0.21-0.24 liters per 1 kg of the mixture (5.25-6.0 liters per 25 kg bag). Stir thoroughly with a mixer or a low-speed drill with a nozzle until a homogeneous consistency without lumps and clots is achieved. The resulting mixture must be used within 2 hours. In machine application, the dry mix is loaded into the receiving hopper of the plastering unit and sealed with water in an amount that provides the required consistency, optimal for uniform distribution or spraying of the mix over the base.
Do not add other components to the mixture.
When performing work, it is necessary to comply with the requirements of the current regulatory documentation. With the manual method of work, the prepared mortar mixture is thrown evenly onto the wall with a trowel or bucket. With a mechanized method of work, any plastering station can be used to apply plaster. Plastering the walls with a nozzle is usually carried out from left to right and from top to bottom, forming grips with a width of about 100 cm. The work is carried out in such a way that the plaster spray trail moves along the lower edge of the strip of already applied mixture – the “caterpillar” method. Each subsequent grip is applied with an overlap of the previous one by 2-3 cm. Align the applied mortar mixture before setting and no later than 5-7 minutes later according to the established beacons with a metal rule or a half-trowel to form a continuous layer. After that, the beacons should be dismantled, and the empty areas should be filled with WALLMIX C-17 mortar mixture using a trowel and leveled. The thickness of the layer of the WALLMIX C-17 mortar mixture, applied in one pass, should be from 5 to 30 mm. About 2 hours after mixing the dry mixture, moisten the leveled plaster layer with plenty of water and rub in a circular motion with a hard polystyrene float. Under normal climatic conditions (temperature +20 ° C and 60% relative humidity), the mortar curing time is approximately 24 hours.
The work should be performed at a temperature of +5 ° C to +30 ° C. The most effective result is achieved at a temperature of +20 ° C and a relative humidity of 60%. In other conditions, the operating parameters of the mixture may change. When performing works, the facade must be protected from direct sunlight, as well as high humidity (rain, fog, etc.).
The consumption of the mixture is ~ 1.2 kg / m2 with a layer thickness of 1 mm.
The mixture contains cement, which causes an alkaline reaction at the time of hydration, so when working it is necessary to protect the eyes and skin. In case of contact with eye, rinse immediately with running water and seek medical advice.
The mixture must be stored in branded airtight packaging in a dry place, on pallets. Shelf life 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the package. Use damaged bags first.
Paper bags with an inner plastic layer of 25 kg.
